Will my emotion records be uploaded to a server?

EmoLog does not upload your records to our servers. By default, records exist only on your device. You can optionally enable iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) backup in Settings — backups are stored in your own cloud account, and DASTO has no access to them.

Can I change the language?

Yes. You can switch the language on the Settings screen. Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese are currently supported.

The weather is inaccurate or keeps failing to load?

The weather feature requires location permission to work. Please go to your device Settings > EmoLog > Location to confirm permission is granted. Weather data comes from OpenWeatherMap — accuracy in some regions may be limited, which is outside EmoLog's control.

Can I back up my records or switch phones?

Yes. EmoLog supports iCloud (iOS) and Google Drive (Android) backup. Enable it from Settings, then sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account on a new phone to restore your records. Backups live in your own cloud account — DASTO does not keep any copy.

Is EmoLog a mental health tool?

EmoLog is an emotion-logging aid that helps you recognize and record your feelings, but it does not constitute mental health advice or medical diagnosis. If you are facing serious psychological distress, please seek professional help.
